The Land of Counterpane
The Land of Counterpane is a layered abstract inspired by memory, comfort, and imagined landscapes shaped by pattern and repetition. Interlocking shapes and softly outlined forms move across the surface like pieces of a well-worn quilt, each carrying its own color, texture, and quiet history.
Muted earth tones, pale lavenders, soft greens, and gentle neutrals create a sense of warmth and familiarity, while the flowing composition suggests connection across time and place. The work reflects the Journey Series’ exploration of how personal histories and small moments are stitched together into a larger, enduring narrative. 30” W. X 24” H. X 1.5”
