About Artist Beth LaPenna

Beth LaPenna is a Nashville-based artist whose work is rooted in texture, color, and spirit. A former interior designer turned full-time artist, she creates luminous acrylic and mixed media pieces that speak to transformation, beauty, and inner journey.

Her widely collected Journey Series features expressive, abstract landscapes with layered textures and winding paths evoking a sense of movement, light, and emotional depth.

Beth’s ColorScapes Stitched Collage Series by contrast, are built from hand-printed papers, bold color, and delicate threadwork—each one a tactile, modern fusion of paint, pattern, and textile sensibility.

Beth’s Wild Light Gardens Series brings another dimension: richly textured works alive with vibrant color and glowing energy, inspired by the way light filters through memory and nature.

Across each series, her art is meant to be lifegiving—inviting joy, stillness, and soulful presence into the spaces it inhabits. New pieces are released seasonally for collectors who value depth, beauty, and originality.

Beth’s art is represented in galleries and held in private collections across the U.S.

Rave Reviews from Beth’s Collectors……

"We first saw Beth LaPenna’s work at Geodis Park during a Nashville SC match—what a surprise to find such soulful, textured art in a stadium setting! Her stitched collage series caught our eye right away. The mix of hand-printed papers and subtle stitching creates such a sense of movement and story. We chose Quiet Connection for our Nashville home, and it brings a beautiful calm to our space."

“Beth’s paintings capture the essence of spontaneity and creativity. Her bold experiments with color and form result in art that is both visually stimulating and emotionally resonant. That’s what I love about her work. When guests visit my home, they often comment on the beauty and passion of her paintings.”

“We were immediately drawn in by the energy and emotion she expresses consistently in her paintings and mixed media creations. We have just added a third painting to our collection of Beth’s work. Each one brings us joy and yes, even a sense of peace and order.”
